1/8/2014 Writing Tip

If you don’t have a kitchen (or other) timer, buy one. Go alone to a place where you won’t be disturbed. Set the timer for fifteen minutes. Start the timer and do nothing – no mental list-making, no meditation, no figuring out what comes next.  When the timer goes off, write five sentences about how you feel mentally, emotionally and physically.
