Welcoming new (and a little strange) comrades: mewsings for 1/19/2014

The FLF* compound has a new comrade. S/he’s a heavy-weight and loves Mexican food. Though s/he wears high heels and is built like a scaled-down Sherman tank, s/he can navigate steps and front porches – even leaping off the latter. I include a surveillance photograph. Since it was shot at night, there are few incriminating details. You cannot see that s/he has her/his snout deep in a container of taco salad. (S/he did leave the nasty green lettuce bits.)

javelinaWe welcome our new comrade/tte to the fold. I believe s/he will be a big help when it comes time to shore up the barricades. And to clean up left-overs.

Our human suggested I give you an up-date on my health. For those of you who don’t know, I was diagnosed with mouth cancer in May. We have to wonder about that.  I am fine, eating a lot, going out on my work for the revolution whenever I can slip out the door and napping with the other comrades here at the compound – though not with our javelina.

Today’s mewsing: Welcome all who come with the spirit of Revolution in their hearts – even if they are about forty times bigger than you and have sharp teeth.
