Walk away from your computer, away from your desk, away from the house or office. Take a notebook and pen/pencil with you. Walk for five minutes. Stop. Be where you are with your eyes closed for a few minutes. Turn your head a few degrees to the right. Open your eyes. Use all your senses to record where you are in your mind. Take notes.
A week later, read your notes and begin writing. Use this prompt if you like: I’m in the heart of something new….
